Hello Seahawks!

My name is Nurse Kelly, and I joined First Flight Middle School as the school nurse in January 2021.

I grew up right down the road in Hertford, NC and have spent a lot of time down here on the Outer Banks. I graduated from College of the Albemarle in Elizabeth City in 2011 with my Associates Degree in Nursing. From there, I began working at Vidant Chowan Hospital in Edenton, in the Family Birthing Center. I worked there as a Labor and Delivery nurse for nine and a half years! I went back to school and graduated with my BSN in nursing in 2017 from Chamberlain University.

My office is located in the front office at FFMS. My office hours are typically Monday-Friday from 8am - 4pm.  If you ever have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out!
